SALMAN KHAN, ANUSHKA SHARMA'S SULTAN BAGS TOP HONOURS AT TEHRAN FILM FESTIVAL

As we reported earlier that Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan is all set to release on 8,000 plus cinema screens in the world's second-largest movie market, China, on 2 March 2018. Now the Salman Khan's Sultan has also bagged top three awards at the Tehran International Sports Film Festival, including the Best Actor and Actress titles for both Salman and Anushka. Director Ali Abbas Zafar also won the award and an honorary diploma for the Best Director of Long Narrative.

In a statement given to media director, Ali Abbas said, "Sultan has cut across borders cultures and languages with its powerful story, performances and honest belief in the life-changing impact of a sport. The team and I are very thankful to the organisers at Tehran International Sports Film Festival for their appreciation and love."

The sports-drama Sultan has already received standing ovations at the Busan International Film Festival and at the Shanghai International Film Festival.
