Vijay Singh Quits Fox Star Studios

Vijay Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Fox Star Studios, has quit, and will be moving on from the studio. According to Brand Equity.com, reveal that though Singh had put in his papers on March 11, he will continue to be at the studio for the next two to three months. Vijay Singh joined the studio in 2007, and helped set it up in the Indian market. Before joining FSS, he held the post of managing director – developing markets at The Tetley Group – Tata Global Beverages. Prior to that he was the managing director of Sony Music Entertainment India, and once again helped establish the music label’s India business.

While Singh was unavailable for comment, those in the know reveal that he may be moving to yet another international entertainment firm hoping to establish business in India. Unlike many of his peers though, Singh is unlikely to start his own venture any time soon.Over the next two to three months, Singh will help his successor Bikram Duggal, executive director and head studio entertainment at The Walt Disney Company, take over the reins of FSS.
