Zee TV's Rabb Se Hai Dua Leaps 22 Years: Dheeraj Dhoopar in Delhi

Zee TV's Rabb Se Hai Dua with its differentiated narrative about a woman questioning her husband’s request for a second marriage made headlines all through its run. However, starting 21st February, the show will take a generation leap of 22 years, and actor Raymon Kakar will replace Aditi Sharma as the elder Dua. She is now seen as a strong matriarch who has taken over the family business. The show will now focus on the journey of Dua’s daughters - half-sisters Ibaadat (Haider and Ghazal’s daughter), and Mannat (Haider and Dua’s daughter) who are against the misuse of the law that allows polygamy by men. Their contention is that some men take advantage of the law to pass off their infidelity as legit. As luck would have it, they find themselves entangled in it personally, as they fall in love with the same man, Subhaan.

Dheeraj Dhoopar Returns: Introducing Subhaan in Zee TV's New Venture

Essaying the role of Subhaan will be television heartthrob Dheeraj Dhoopar who returns to Zee TV after his immensely successful journey as Karan Luthra in Kundali Bhagya. Subhaan has stayed abroad over the years and is an enterprising young businessman leading the overseas branch of the family business, Dua Haider Designs. He shares a deeper bond with Aunt Dua than he does with his parents. What’s interesting is that he’s kept his identity as a YouTube singing sensation hidden. He believes in the power of music as a medium for spreading love and joy but not for personal gain, and as a result, keeps his face concealed by a mask. As a person, Subhan has a very soft-spoken nature and strongly believes in taking care of relationships with sensitivity and kindness. To promote the leap in the show, the lead actor of the show– Dheeraj Dhoopar visited Delhi today, met media, fans, and onlookers; as well as made appearances across prominent locations in the city, leaving them delighted!

Dheeraj Dhoopar

Dheeraj Dhoopar said, “I am thrilled to return to Zee TV and be a part of a show like 'Rabb Se Hai Dua.' Playing the role of Subhaan will be an interesting challenge, and I'm excited to explore the nuances of this layered character. The show's unique storyline has piqued my interest, and I am eager to contribute to its ongoing success. As I embark on this exciting journey, I am delighted to be promoting the show in my hometown, Delhi, a city that holds a special place in my heart. The vibrant energy and warm hospitality of Delhi has always inspired me. When in Delhi, I love to visit places in Hauz Khas or Greater Kailash and savor local delicacies in Khan Market, relishing the famous Moolchand Paranthas.”

While Ibaadat and Mannat have signed a PIL against polygamy, what will happen when they land themselves into the very situation they are taking a stand against?
