THESE 5 YOUTUBE SENSATIONS WILL BE SEEN IN BOLLYWOOD SOON

Today there are more chances to miss the first-day first show of your favourite film star film than to miss the latest episode of your favourite web series! Apart from the fact that the content of web-series is different and new for the audience, Of course, there are other reasons like you can watch web-series anywhere anytime to prefer web series over Bollywood films with similar stories. As a result, the fan following of  YouTubers are growing stronger year by year! Now, the word Star is not just related to Bollywood but now the definition of Stars has gone beyond the Bollywood actors. The popularity graph of the digital star is growing very fast as many Bollywood filmmakers want them to be part of their big budget projects.

Last year we saw YouTubers such as Kanan Gill in Noor with Sonakshi Sinha, Sumeet Vyas in Ribbon with Kalki Koechlin, Mallika Dua in Hindi Medium and Rohan Joshi in Bar Bar Dekho. Now, this year also many YouTubers bagged roles in some of the big projects of Bollywood.

Here we list down your 5 of our favourite and popular YouTubers who will be soon in Bollywood films of 2018.

1. Sumeet Vyas

YouTube star Sumeet Vyas aka Mikesh from TVF's Permanent Roommates was last seen in a last year release film opposite Kalki Koechlin called Ribbon. Now the actor will soon be seen romancing actor Kareena Kapoor Khan in the upcoming film Veere Di Wedding, which also stars Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar in lead roles. The film is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Rhea Kapoor and is all set to hit the theatres on 1 June 2018.

2. Mithali Palkar

The web series Little Things fame Mithila Palkar is all set for her big Bollywood debut with the talented actor Irrfan Khan and star of Malayalam films Dulquer Salmaan, Karwaan. Karwan is a lighthearted comedy film, directed by Akash Khurana and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The actress who is also known for her TV series Girl In The City had also worked in Kangana Ranaut starrer Katti Batti as Imran Khan's sister.

3. Abhilash Thapliyal

Abhilash Thapliyal, the creator of MufflerMan and RJ who is also known for his pranks on the show such as Red FM’s Shendi is all set for his Bollywood debut in upcoming comedy film Dil Junnglee which stars with Tapsee Pannu and Saquib Saleem in the lead roles. It will be interesting to watch how the talented entertainer will show his acting skills in his debut film.

 

4. Angira Dhar

Angira, who found fame after starring in the web- series Bang Baaja Baaraat starring Ali Fazal, will be seen in a Ronnie Screwvala production, titled Love Per Square Foot. It is a feature film which deals with the very common predicaments that face today's urban youth; finding a house and finding love in a city like Mumbai. In the film, the actress plays the character of a strong-headed, modern girl Kareena D’souza whose sole aim of life is to have a house of her own in the city of dreams, Mumbai. In the attempt to achieve her dream, Angira’s character ends up making decisions that take her life on a roller coaster ride. The film also featured the very talented Vicky Kaushal in the lead role.

 

5.  Srishti Shrivastava

Girliyapa's Why Should Hot Girls Have All The Fun? fame Srishti Shrivastava is another name added to the list of the debutants. She will be soon seen in an upcoming romantic comedy film Dil Juunglee whcih also stars Taapsee Pannu and Saquib Saleem in the lead roles. The film written and directed by Aleya Sen is all set to release on 9 March.

 

Special Mention:-  Nidhi Singh, Sumeet’s co-star from Permanent Roommates, is also set to make her Bollywood debut soon in Dil Junglee, which stars another web actor, Srishti Shrivastava and RJ Abhilash Thapliyal.
