Speaking at the unveiling of the much awaited music album of the web series Broken starring the nation‘s current favorite and heartthrob Vikrant Massey opposite Harleen Sethi in lead roles, at the Razzberry Rhinoceros at Juhu, the Head Honcho of ALT Balaji Ekta Kapoor said candidly with her tongue in cheek that though she does not mind confessing that she does not want to be saaf suthri at all when it comes to her web series, Broken is about the celebration of a broken heart and not any other body part.

Ekta adds. “Sarita Tanwar who is producing the web series is a friend I have known right from her Stardust days and when I suggested that she make a show for ALT Balaji, she came up with the idea of Broken which is celebration. Healing of a heart takes time but no one is ready to give his or her time for a broken heart to heal.”

Ekta added that what she liked about Broken is the fact that though as a matter of fact web series do not set out to explore more of love, we need to deal also with internal struggle when someone walks out on you. I am sure that the web series will have a great connect with its simple emotions.”Broken revolves around two individuals with broken hearts, who find each other and realize that sometimes to fix a broken heart, you need pieces of yet another broken heart. With 11 gripping and soul stirring episodes each of duration of 20 minutes, the streaming of Broken will start from November 27 onwards on ALT Balaji. Broken will mark the web debut of Shreya Ghosal as a play back singer.

Vikrant Massey, who seems to happy with his crown as the Devdas of web series said, “ I am confident that Broken will strike many chords with its spell binding storyline and heart touching music. The beautiful songs are quite layered and I am extremely happy to be associated with this series. Harleen Sethi exults, “The series has been really close to my heart. Really like the music and I am truly excited for the series to launch. I genuinely hope that the audience thoroughly enjoys this romantic drama and the songs and become every lover’s favorite tracks of the year.”
