Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Samridhi Shukla was an expert in silent devilry in her childhood

Samriddhi Shukla, who made her name in the television world by playing Savi in the serial 'Savi Ki Sawaari', is also a voice-over artist, who has given voice to many cartoon characters. Do you know, Samriddhi Shukla, who is winning the hearts of the audience by playing the character of bubbly Abhira in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', used to do silent mischief in her childhood.

You must have heard about Motu Patlu cartoons, they also do a lot of mischief. How were you in childhood and did you also do mischief?

To be honest, I was quite quiet in my childhood. Meaning, I was so calm that if I did anything mischievous, I did it secretly. It was so quiet that no one would even know that I had done something evil. And in this show, I do so much mischief that there is no limit. My character Abhira speaks more in one scene than I probably speak in an entire day. I am very calm in real life, and all I hear is that I am wise beyond my years. Abhira is very different from Samriddhi, and that's the fun of acting. I am having more fun playing the character of Abhira because I am very boring in real life. I think I should learn something from Abhira.

Since you were a devil in your childhood, what kind of mischief did you do? Would you like to tell us something about this?

One day my parents had gone out and I was alone at home. Whenever my parents went out of the house, I used to think that whatever I did, they would not know. I used to sprinkle powder all over the floor and then slide on it. Once when I was caught, my father scolded me harshly, but it was also in jest because he just wanted to see what reaction I would give. For example, when children are scolded, they make very cute faces. So, he just wanted to see that face of mine and hence he scolded me. I have committed many evils in silence. I had a cousin's sister come to stay, and she had lots of expensive shampoos and conditioners. At that time, I was probably in the third or fourth standard, at that time I did not know what conditioner was, so I applied the conditioner thinking it was shampoo and when it did not create lather, I applied more and in doing so I finished half of the bottle. I had done many such mischiefs.
