Vishal Aditya Singh the batsman of Chennai Swaggers of MTV BCL Season 4 talks to JYOTHI VENKATESH

Since how many years you are playing BCL? 

It has been 3 years since I am playing BCL.

Which position you will play -allrounder? Bowler, Batsman? 

I play the role of a batsman

Do you watch cricket matches as well? 

I am a great fan of cricket. I used to watch a lot sometime back. But now due to hectic schedules of work, I try to keep up with the matches through highlights.

Which is your favourite Test matches, One day or T20 matches? 

I love all of 3. But I found T20 more entertaining as its a fast game and everything happens fast.

This year Cricket World Cup is also coming what are the chances of India this time?

Obviously, we all want India to win. But the match is in England so it depends on the performance of the team on the pitch.

How you are preparing for BCL? 

We are practising regularly and religiously. I hope my team Chennai Swaggers to win.

BCL is a perfect combination of glamour and entertainment what is your take on that. 

When you talk about BCL, then its cricket which comes first then comes entertainment. Obviously, there will be glamour as all the entertainment industry people would be there. Everybody is so busy with their work so BCL is like a common ground where all the actors can meet and enjoy together.

BCL is famous for controversies. What is your take on that? 

I don't believe in controversies. I believe that if you say truth then its a controversy and if you lie too then its also a controversy.

The youth loved BCL last year on MTV. The youth audiences loved it. Comment.

MTV is a youth-oriented channel and cricket is what attracts youth the most. So when they are actors playing cricket so people enjoy it as they get to know more about their loved actors.

What are your expectations from BCL this year?

The expectations are good cricket, team spirit, and a healthy game. I hope the audience will enjoy this season of BCL.
