Going Bald Was A Huge Risk Which Paid Off Says Sohit Vijay Soni 

Sohit Vijay Soni who is known for his acting in comedy and has done shows like Tu Mera Hero, Jiaji Chhat Par Hai, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai and Tenali Rama has gone bald! Sohit had to shave off his hair for the role of Mani in Tenali Rama. When asked Sohit says,”This was the need for the look of Mani and I did not hesitate to shave off my hair. The producers Abhimanyu and Rupali Singh are extremely nice and I am thankful to them for giving me this opportunity. Because for the last one and a half years Mani has become my identity.” Sohit also adds,”Initially I had faced few problems as my skin is sensitive and after I shave it off I used to get rashes on the scalp of my head. Then I had to see a skin specialist and gradually things were solved. As an actor our face and hair are extremely precious, so one can be little uncomfortable and conscious. But am grateful to the audience of Tenali Rama that show is doing well and I have also been appreciated for my role. Usually someone used to shave off my hair now am so comfortable with it I myself shave my hair on the set.”
