ALIA-RANBIR STARTS PREP FOR 'BRAHMASTRA'

Alia Bhatt is back from the vacations in Bali after celebrating the New Year to work with Ranbir Kapoor for their next, Brahmastra  helmed by Ayan Mukherji. The actors have started preparation for their next. The duo will be sharing screen for the first time in Brahmastra.

Filmmaker Karan Johar took to Twitter to post a picture of Alia with co-star Ranbir and director Ayan. Revealing that the film’s shoot will commence next month, Karan captioned the photo as, “The new year begins with the prep of #BRAHMASTRA....the countdown of the epic journey of our film begins! Filming commences in February 2018! Ayan Mukerji helms this magical trilogy! @SrBachchan #ranbir @aliaa08 and an exciting ensemble!”

The actress also took to her official account and shared the picture with the caption, 'Prep vibes'.

The first installment of Brahmastra will be shot in Israel and Jordan. Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Brahmastra is a fantasy adventure trilogy and will also feature Amitabh Bachchan in a vital role. The film is slated to release on August 15, 2019.
