After ‘Mastani’ And ‘Padmavati’, Deepika Padukone Will Now Play ‘Draupadi’ On Screen !

Even as all her loyal fans and movie-buffs are eagerly waiting to watch ravishing model-actress Deepika Padukone in her upcoming hard-hitting movie ‘Chhapaak’, where she plays an acid-attack-survivor, now comes this delightful news . The versatile super-star Deepika will reportedly be seen in the screen-avataar of ‘Draupadi’ in her next blockbuster mega-mytho-movie project  based on the legendary Hindu epic ‘Mahabharata’,   co-produced by the suave Madhu Mantena.  For multiple award-winning actress Deepika Padukone , it will not be an uphill task, as she has convincingly played traditional, historical ethnic title-role screen-characters as in mega-movies ‘Bajirao Mastani and ‘Padmaavat’ in the recent past.  Not surprisingly, the ecstatic Deepika  has reacted to the news-media with,” I truly believe that it’s a role of a life-time. It’s an honour and I am thrilled to play the central character of ’Draupadi’. It will be narrated with a fresh and new perspective from ‘Draupadi’s point-of-view.” .  The rest of the cast and crew is being finalized in the coming months. The million-dollar question that is being discreetly speculated is, whether madame Padukone’s star-actor hubby (mascot) Ranveer Singh would also be approached and cast to play either Lord Krishna or maybe even Arjun or Karan .
