Actor Model Susheel Jangira Turns Producer-Writer-Director-Lyricist With Her Short Film Meri Rockstar Wali Jeans

Actor cum model Susheel Jangira is making her debut with her short film Meri Rockstar Wali Jeans as a writer, director and Lyricist. Susheel Jangira was the face of popular of Zoom TV shows like Planet Bollywood, Ring a star and other shows like fear factor-3,National Racing Championship, National Karting Championship,T-10 Gully Cricket ,Etc Chit-Chat ,Mountain Dew ‘Nidar’. Susheel had also been a part of music video Beach Cafe, Ab ke Sajan (remix) etc.  According to her, we have maximum number of male writers in Bollywood or Hollywood and even they write woman-oriented subjects from a male point of view, and the female view point and perceptive gets lost so at the end of it all we see a woman protagonist thinking and behaving exactly how a man wants her to behave. Meri Rockstar Wali Jeans has been released on YouTube. It is a sensitive Hindi fiction film which shows how the change in perception changes one’s life, about a girl Bhanoo, who is going through some past emotional and physical trauma in life. Mitali who voluntarily teaches the chawl kids recognizes the pain of Bhanoo, changes her life and motivates her towards her dreams. Bhanoo inspired by her teacher’s jeans and plans to be a rockstar.  The film is not about feminism but the emotional trauma faced by any age group.  The music & background score is given by Rahul Jain and sung by Abhiruchi Singh. “I wanted to make a film which is truly woman empowering but without holding the clichéd feminism flag.  I wanted to touch base with the hardship and trauma in life that a woman of any age might go through. We should show light, new dreams and give a pair of jeans to life where you can feel rocking- This is how I see life and my film reflects my mindset”, Susheel Jangira signs off.
